Trainings
SNH provides educational programs and activities designed to support the learning and skill
development of individuals. These trainings can vary depending on the needs and abilities of the
individual and may include a range of topics such as communication, independent living,
vocational skills, and social skills.
These trainings can be facilitated by professionals, such as educators, vocational counselors,
and disability advocates, who are trained to work with individuals.
Some of our training include :
- Independent living skills training: This type of training
focuses on teaching individuals how to live independently, such as managing their finances,
household chores, and personal care.
- Vocational training: This type of training helps
individuals to develop skills and gain experience in a specific trade or profession,
increasing their chances of obtaining and maintaining employment.
- Social skills training: This type of training helps
individuals develop social skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and conflict
resolution, which are essential for building and maintaining relationships.
- Safety Care training: Safety Care is a program designed to provide training in behavior management and crisis prevention, particularly in settings where individuals may display challenging behaviors.
